A giant mosquito sat buzzing by the water's edge
while I admired its gray arched spine.
Noticing me, it perched on my back and sucked my blood
until it became a part of me.
And when I'm with you
sometimes it flies from my mouth
and clutches to your skin...
And I feel so trapped sometimes.
I'll hold on for far too long
and keep moving way too fast
fight with you for no damn reason
because I can't get enough of you I guess.
Sometimes I think that we are so similar,
that you have a mosquito
that clutches onto me.
We can itch forever together
or take a few breaths
until we dive in again, deep.
When I'm with you
I'm so nervous and so comfortable at the same time
Now we can sleep all damn day because...
Nothing else fucking matters.
